Political Win Strategy: “Educate The Masses”

We have ten months to “educate the masses” if we are to win our next political war. The masses include 37 million independent and some liberal voters, not just other conservatives. We must use knowledge as weapons and ballots as bullets in our non-violent battles. Many patriots have the knowledge (weapons) but we need ballots (bullets) to win. Most citizens rely on political rhetoric and other biased sources for their knowledge because they do not have the time or desire to research the facts needed to make informed decisions. We have seen the consequences of poorly informed voters. The question is: How can we turn “knowledgeable patriots” into teachers that educate and recruit enough voters to win?

Many of us feel educating and recruiting citizens is the most important function we can execute before November 2012, but we must be smart about how we do it. A clear nonpartisan mission objective that reaches everyone is needed such as: Provide facts and expose politician tactics to allow citizens to make informed decisions. We need a strategic framework and an action plan for how we can carry out this mission. Some initial thoughts and a graphic summary are provided below as starting points.

An “Educate The Masses” strategic framework requires:

  1. A list of citizens needs and wants that are constrained by basic Values, e.g., “a free ride” is not an acceptable “want.”
  2. A mission statement that is what we want to achieve.
  3. A vision statement that is the desired long-term end state.
  4. Strategic goals that if achieved will satisfy citizens the needs and wants.
  5. Strategic objectives — lists of specific actions for each strategic goal.
  6. A list of the underlying values or principles that form the foundation.

An “Educate The Masses” Strategic Framework is shown in the graphic.

Note that “Inform citizens” is the overarching strategy. It’s “what” we patriots need to do. The rest of the strategies are the “how” actions that citizens need to demand to meet the goals and ultimately achieve the vision.

Our initial action plan should:

  • Establish what citizens need to know to make informed decisions. Develop “school lesson plans” of written, video and voice information that are factual for patriot teachers’ use.
  • Discuss and establish “winning” topics. Avoid “moral issues” that allow liberals to pounce and out flank us. These can be addressed in future battles only if we win the 2012 battle.
  • Develop strategies and tactics for providing the factual information to citizens including:
  • Expose tricks and tactics politicians use to scare, seduce and deceive voters. Provide timely analysis of politicians’ speeches and quickly communicating “corrections”
  • Expose real priorities of career politicians

Communicating opinions amongst ourselves is useful and thought provoking, but this alone will not be enough to win the battle to reinvigorate our nation. Our political leaders, and “sound bite” news media will confuse rather than enlighten citizens. Many citizens are too busy to do their own research and some would rather be entertained that informed. We need to put our efforts into communicating the true facts. So, let get moving!

If you agree we need to be teachers of the masses, and have suggestions or comments, please provide feedback.
